Evil Eye bar and lounge - Stonegate, York
Something quite different from your usual York drinking inn. Complete with upstairs internet connected chill out lounge this colourful and lively venue half way down Stonegate offers a huge selection of cocktails (huge by any standard), whiskies and beers. A great place to go and sit at the bar, soak up a really electic atmostphere and drink very strong drinks from friendly bartenders.
They used to do a “hell shot” some time ago but York City Council banned this tequila and vodka mix from their menu. I don’t think I ever saw anyone manage to keep it in their stomach for more than 5 seconds. ‘nuff said.
